One of best features Dropbox has is the “Camera upload”. So if you take a lot of pictures with your mobile device they will be uploaded directly to your cloud storage account instantly.
The great thing about this feature is that you don’t have to worry about forgetting to back your images up. The service does that for you, so even if your phone gets lost or stolen you’ll never lose your most precious photos. All you have to do is go to your account setting in the mobile app and turn on “Camera upload”. Then, you can chose how to upload the pictures (by Wi-Fi or data plan) and to upload only photos or both photos and videos.
Ideal for selfie-junkies ;)
On the other hand if you are a profesional photographer Dropbox may not be the best place for your creations. The “camera upload” won’t do you any good since you don’t take the pictures with your mobile device. And have in mind that the free space Dropbox gives you is only 2GB. But their Pro accounts are affordable and reliable. 100GB for $9.99 a month.
Dropbox uses modern encryption methods to both transfer and store your data, so your photographs will be safe there, and it’s under your control who will have access to them.
